A story about vegetables on a quest to find a fabled stew that will unite them with their Gods (us).
The Cabbage Family believes that the Stew will allow them to transcend the vegetable world (as a rite of passage into the other world/uniting with their human Gods through being eaten by them). The fruit families have no place in a stew and don’t want the vegetables to reach godlike status, if the Stew even exists.
The family (a broccoli father, cauliflower mother, Scottish cabbage son, leek daughter, and shallot baby) go on a quest to find the Stew. They encounter resistance in the form of onion cannibals and fruit armies.
Will they succeed?
Temporarily removed due to suckage.
13 September 2008: Teaser II – Introduction to part of the family
Meet Pa, Ma, and Baby Brassica. They have another son and daughter, whom will not yet be revealed. The story is coming along nicely! Today I have concentrated on the family’s journey. It is quite the challenge to photograph all the scenes I need when my actors age so rapidly. However, they have been putting their very best work into these one-day shoots.
What on Earth is going on here?!
12 September 2008: Teaser I – The carrot hoplites assemble
CARROTS join the BRASSICA family as they traverse the fruity TERRITORIES on their way to the Great Big Stew in the Sky. Fruits assemble to BAR their PASSAGE, forming up countless lines of INFANTRY. CAPTAIN CARRADINE, commander of the EASTERN CARROTS, father to an eaten SON, husband to an eaten WIFE, forms up his highly disciplined soldiers into a tight pincushion PHALANX.
